The Vet Cooperative

Keeping Local Clinics Alive

WHAT WE DID

Web Series

Long-Term Marketing Campaign

THE BACKGROUND
For towns and communities that want to keep their clinics locally owned, the Veterinary Cooperative (TVC) is the answer. As chain hospitals and big box stores become more powerful, local practices are at risk of going under - unless they band together. TVC unites a community of 4,000+ independently owned vet practices across the U.S., leveling the playing field and increasing their purchasing power so they can stay in the game.

THE GOAL
With this campaign, the cooperative had two goals: to grow their membership of independent animal hospitals, and to convince pet owners of the advantage of locally owned clinics.

HOW WE DID IT

To show the benefits of choosing independent practices, we leaned into what pet owners care about most in a practice: the vets themselves. The result is a series of stories as personalized as the care these vets provide.

Each episode follows the owner of a different clinic, capturing their passions, their struggles, and their connections to pets and to people. By sharing their stories, we can connect to other practice owners who want to stay independent, and show pet owners what it looks like when the person who cares most about their pets is in charge of the practice.
